Abundant Life began well over 30 years ago, officially being established in Anchorage, Alaska in 1992.
Pastor James Fitts, II and Pastoress Sarrah Fitts married on October 10, 2009 and have been actively engaged in full-time ministry for over 30+ years, and continue to do so as Abundant Life’s Pastor and Pastoress.
They happily serve the body of Christ (you!) by offering a place where all that come receive sound preaching and teaching of the word of God.
Just as important, Abundant Life is a church where everyone who comes is loved!

Our Founders
Abundant Life is a ministry organization that began over 30 years ago...
...when the daughter of Air Force Sergeant James L. Fitts began attending Sunday school not far from the Air Force base where he and his family had been stationed. His daughter's enthusiasm for Sunday school and the word of the Lord did not go without notice by James and his wife, Beverly. Soon they were attending the small church helping wherever they could. It was there that James & Beverly began their ministries, thanks to their daughter and the leading of God.
The Air Force proved to be fertile grounds for the Fitts'. Wherever their travels and the Air Force took them, they witnessed and ministered to military personnel and to civilians. Over the years the Fitts family grew and James & Beverly were blessed to have six more beautiful children. After twenty years in the Air Force James & Beverly were led of the Lord to plan for a home missions church that would be established in Anchorage, Alaska. James decided to retire early from the Air Force to answer God's call.
In 1992, Abundant Life was officially established in the city of Anchorage, Alaska 
under the leadership and overseeing of Bishop James L. Fitts and First Lady, Beverly Fitts.
In 2024 the church was passed to the next generation when his son, James L. Fitts, II and his wife began their pastoral role. Throughout the years, Abundant Life has been a place where all that come receive sound preaching and teaching of the word of God. Just as important, Abundant Life Ministries is a church where everyone who comes is loved.
